Requesting for Account Deletion

When you request for account deletion, we do partial and full deletion where it is ideal for our business logic to run smoothly. We also retain data that we believe are not really personal to yourself but might have a negative effect on smooth operation of the our platform if deleted.

Nonetheless, requesting that your account be deleted implies that your account be made inaccessible to yourself and any other parties - ourselves inclusive.

Deleting Account

To delete your Bookmi.pro account, login to the bookmi.pro mobile application as a regular user or switch to User Account from professional area. Locate and press the more icon on bottom navigation tray. Scroll to the bottom to locate the Delete Account menu and you are done in few moment later.

We completely delete your records for chat messages, articles, favourite businesses and products list, Glitz data and shipping addresses.

We partially delete the record for user and business profile by emptying fields that may contain sentive data such as:

User Record:

First name, last name, email address, phone number, avatar/profile display photo

Business Record:

Business name, business address, cover photo and images, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter links, location coordinates, city and state

Retained Records

These are records like products and services offered by professionals that are not deleted because an entry in such record could be have a connection with an active user's data that must not be lost.
